"Congratulations!

You have been awarded the TPM medal of honour! This is our highest award for outstanding service on the intellectual battleground.

The fact that you progressed through this activity neither being hit nor biting a bullet suggests that your beliefs about God are internally consistent and very well thought out.

A direct hit would have occurred had you answered in a way that implied a logical contradiction. You would have bitten bullets had you responded in ways that required that you held views that most people would have found strange, incredible or unpalatable. However, you avoided both these fates - and in doing so qualify for our highest award. A fine achievement!"

Apparently I'm much more clever in all thins spiritual and philosophical than I give myself credit for.
According to the statistics they listed most people get at least one direct hit and one bullet when taking the test.

I'm a bit concerned about how they claim I did not have to bite a bullet, considering I said that, by my logic torturing innocent people was not morally wrong (since without a god there is no base for morality and thus something can't possibly be morally wrong). I would think most people would find that quite incredible or unpalatable.

Of course I don't go around torturing people, because it is morally wrong according to the terms of this society. While I firmly believe the terms of society are based on a completely flawed belief system, there is truth in some of the moral fundamentals that stem from religion and I valiantly accept these. I'm an atheist, not an anarchist.
Morality is one of few things religion has brought into this world that make sense to me, even though various religions have violated these fundamentals more than anyone else in the world in the name of their God. That is beside the point right now... :P

Anyway... take the test, it's quick and simple and pretty nifty and makes you think. Some of the questions are a bit awkwardly phrased and make it hard to determine what exactly they're implying, but you get used to the way they phrase things and then it's a pretty nifty quiz to take. It's not particularly condemning, it just points out where your logic is flawed (if it is).

Nevertheless: good exercise for the philosophical brain.

Okidoki so a period of rest starts off with a killer headache~ !

Had my theory exam yesterday, I'm pretty sure I broke something in my brain because I've been suffering from a killer headache all day today.
Anyway... exam went... erm... well it went. No idea how I id really had some big ups and some major downs... I wasn't as horrible as I thuoght I would be on the anatomy part... did decent in the physiology part.

Then the questoin about lymph.... now... I studied the lymph bit so hard... and still I drew an utter blank on it! It's like my brain just refuses to accept what it is and what it does D=

I did good on my business plan apparently, which is  huge relief as it was a good third of the grade for my theory so ... here's to hoping I didn't fail spectacularly.

The boy is gone for a good chunk of the week. I have the week off too. So no being frustrated with him for a while, no more noisy brats running and flailing around.
God he makes me so glad I didn't have a younger brother growing up.

But he's gone for now, so its nice and quiet. =D

Also, new userpices! Well some of them.

That is all. As you were men, as you were!

Grab the book nearest you. Right now.
* Turn to page 56.
* Find the fifth sentence.
* Post that sentence and these instructions.
* Don't dig for your favorite book, the coolest, the most intellectual. Use the CLOSEST book.

"In the forelimb body weight suspended from scapula tends to flex the shoulder joint which is maintained in extension primarily through 'passive' activity in the predominantly tendinous inelastic biceps."

Oh yeah! If anyone would like to borrow a medical dictionary...

From "Horse Anatomy" by Peter Goody.
I hate studying... *weeps*

Theory exam on friday though, have to study hard now D= So gonna die!

I got tagged by [info]isabelgou and I was bored so I took it.

A. People who have been tagged must, if they choose to participate, write their answers on their blog and replace any question that they dislike with a new, original question. Please italicize the new question if you do that.

B. Tag eight people. Don't refuse to do that. Don't tag who tagged you.

Onwards meme! )

And this is where I realize I don't know that many people... so here goes nothing at completely randomly chosen...
[info]bexx_t_h , [info]lordling , [info]hrhirene , [info]mandymoo29 , [info]whatasong , [info]regentanzer , [info]llwheeler , [info]fluffball

My friends list is pathetic... half the people I don't know and half of the journals aren't even active anymore and the people I do (think) I know probably don't appreciate being tagged. :|
Oh well... if you don't care or no longer read, my bad...>.>

I watched Twilight. Because as much fun as mocking the concept is, it's much more fun to mock the actua asshattery.

In 2 hours of movie... almost 2 hours, I'll be fair... there is well counter 20 minutes worth of interesting story. It's utter crack and could've bene completely prevented if any of the 8 people involved had any sort of a brain and ability to improvise (and I'm to believe one of these people is a practicioning doctor? Pfft)... But in the interest of y'know... making a captivating story I'll give 'em the benefit of the doubt.
I actually went back to check this because my brain told me I HAD to be mistaken.. sadly I'm not it's 1h26m when shit finally hits the fan. Then at 1h34m you finally get to some actual action and climax... and at 1h40m it's all gone and we roll into random drama for about a minute and that's it. While I thought it was about 8minutes worth of action, turns out I was wrong... It's only 6 minutes, 7 and then I'm being really generous.

7 minutes! Out of an almost 2 hours movie!
Anyway... To everyone interested, here is my rendering of the movie...

Major spoilers behind the cut )

I got soaked... today. In a country/state that has had drought issues since the beginning of time.

We went to see the ponies... I had hopes of riding Trev and Emma but Trevor is too fat to wear tack and since I felt bad for Bexx standing around watching I figured I'd give her a lesson on William, but then it started to rain and just sorta never stopped anymore.

So mght get some riding done later on in the week since Bexx has a full week of work ahead of her... Hopefully we'll get some pictures taken then...

Aaaand am already behind LOTS on my NaNo was supposed to write tonight but meh... will spend most of tomorrow writing probably. Might need to find myself some junkfood first though somewhere in this odd little town. Which reminds me I need to do some financing and moving around of moneys... and I still owe money t oa friend...

Note to self; do finances...

Sleep soon... getting tired now...

Sooo... I'm really here! It's a bit surreal still because it all seems entirely too normal.

The flight was uneventful... had a wee bit of turbulance over europe but that was all... and the guy sitting next to me climbed oer my chair (stepping on the armrests and everything) everytime i tried to sleep. Becuase I'd refused to sleep at what was 2pm inthe afternoon for me as the plane said i should...

I tried to NaNo... did some NaNo... but since the muses crappd out when i opened my laptop I wasted most of the batteries on playing pokemon... aaaand i got about 1300 words on the laptop which won't live ofr me just yet... and a whole page of long hand but lack of elbow room kinda buggered me over on both accounts.

Aaand thne i arrived at Kualal Lumpur hihc was ridiculously easy to navigate... thanks to the lovely plus shaped construction of it...so I wandered around wanted to buy these awesome looking ramen at an actual ramen shop but they didn't speak english very well at all so I didn't know if they would accept either of my types of mickey mouse moneys... plus i had no idea what the hell they were all chucking in there and the concept of vegetarianism seemed ot puzzle them most of all... so I thanked them ofr the info and continued on... lacking ramen noodles sadly... I shall try again on my return flight.

Then got back on the plane which all went a lot quicker than at Amsterdam because much less phobia I'd bring a bomb to Perth than to Kuala Lumpur apparently... wherei  had ot unpack everything at schiphol I could leave everything in the bag at KL and no one cared... boarded wit ha whole lot of poms all coming from england and a bunch of asians so I was about the only dutch person left... aaand flew ot Perth whih was more uneventful.. ended upwatcing the kiddy movies of the inflight entertainment set because I'd seen all the others just baout. Can recommend Jack and Jill for those curious, it was actually kinda good but it's a girly sorta movie but not overly so... just niiice movie..

Got to Perth I figured I'd be quick try ot beat them all got stuck in the aisle at ifrst then when i was out made up ofr the loss by speedhicking past the tiny tiny asian people and the short chubby poms. Got fairly quickly ot thep assport check breezed through that headed ot the carrousels of baggage claim and spend 40 minutes waiting for the conveyer belt to evne start moving and spewing bags. There went my headstart. There was another flight arriving at the same time so the queue to customs was getting fucking EPIC. It took me another 30 minutes or so for my bag ot finally get to me.

Then into the queue for customs, i brought strawberry sugar water for Bexx which needed hcecking when they saw i was a horse trainer they wanted to see my horse equipment... i'd oly brought my spurs but since thye were used they needed treatment whihc would cost 30 dollars hiwle i can buy new ones for the same price os I told them to just chuck them... too bad, 'tis a shame because they were nice but oh well.. shit happens.

Found bexx fairly quickly because Perth is a tiny airport... her brother gave us a ride home, I dragged my stuff into my room got the tour "And this is your room it smells of wet carpet."  and that WAS the tour of the place... =P

Then i walked around a bit to stretch my legs while not killing my knees and Bexx did some laundry and then we headed off to the ponies! And I met Trev and WIll and Emma and the shitty litle pony who hasn't got a name i think and Baby the shetland
and i ended up riding Will.. how was... amusing, sooo amusing haha. And everyone came to see him trot because OMG! he was trotting!

Had a talk about him and the other horse,s helped Bexx walk him around a bit but he'd already worked pretty hard and scared Bexx by trying to toss me... Ended up staying there until almost 9pm.. at hiwhc point we realized we didn't have much food so bought out the gasstation with junkfood... and while Iwas supposed ot og to bed early to seriously beat jetlag we ended up chatting nad talking until like 4am... then wnet ot bed where I fought wit hsheets and pillows (or lackthereof) and awoke at 10:30... but my body was in denial and went "nuuu!" and slept on until 11:40 or so... and now I'm here!

It took me 20 minutes ot make my sandwich(which is defrosting painfully slowly) and 2 minutes ot break into Bexx' laptop... xD

Oh and it RAINED! Yesterday and again today! I picked hte coldest bloody day to arrive at it was only 24 degrees and today it looks grey and dreary...! D8
I brought rain wiht me!

No cut, I'm lazy, deal with it. And i do think I beat jetlag... buahahaha!

Dear boys on the internet,

No matter how much you exagurate your life stories and how much you try to impress me with your badassery and awesomeness, you're an internet geek. You enjoy playing D&D and you collect RP dice. You'll be a geek no matter how hardcore you present yourself and just because I seem like a geek too, I'm not quite hat desperate.

So just, cut the crap, I'm not going to fall head over heel in love with you because you are so good at playing number based MMORPGs, nor do I cream myself thinking about how chivalrous you D&D character is. You're a geek, you're probably a few years younger than me (oh lord) and you seem liek the type ot be allergic to sunlight with acne.

I'm shallow, so for your looks it ain't happening. Further more your bragging is only making you seem less appealing.

Seriously, stop that shit or you'll be a virgin longer than I am...

Little love,
A damsel in distress hwo does NOT need you to save her.

p.s. Yes, I realize your penis is bigger than mine, nevermind the fact my mental penis is crafted better than yours, you win... happy now?

I defied the laws of the universe and made it to school. Just in time for the second chance at a test I never made in the first place or knew I even had.

However, I've caught up to nearly everything. Finished one paper, handed in the first draft on another one, FINALLY got the assignment for the last one. Got my exambook (and down another 15,75 because of it x_X)
Now I just need to barf out a book list which I'm alledgedly going to read.
And apparently I've got a presentation on January the 18th.... I have no idea what it entails but I shall ask ...somewhere next week....

Apparently for my history project (big finaly project i'm supposed to spend 40 hours on) I should sift through all the sources of information I found and figure out which information is useful and which isn't and seperate the good from the bad and select what I'm going to use.

I am seriously wondering if ANYONE works like that when writing an essay....

Regardless, have about half an hour of nothingness ahead of me now...

And oh my god, the look-a-like from the guy who does the apple commercials just sat down next to me O_o *stares*

December is made of blah and suck....
